Projekthintergrund
Das extreme Klima führt dazu dass nur 1-mal, mit viel Glück 2-mal im Jahr, geerntet werden kann. Zurückzuführen sind diese Bedingungen auf den heißen Wind aus Laos, von April bis Ende August. Die Temperaturen steigen dann auf über 40 wobei zu dieser Zeit kaum Regen fällt. Die Pflanzen auf den Feldern verbrennen buchstäblich, da sie keine Bewässerungsmöglichkeiten als Schutz vor dem Verbrennen haben.
Ziele des Projektes sowie erwartete Ergebnisse mittelbar (Vision, ideelle und langfristige Ziele, goals):
Ein Bewässerungskanalsystem, abgehend von einem nahegelegenen Fluss, wird gebaut. Dadurch werden die Felder im Sommer bewässert, das Verbrennen wird verhindert und die Reisproduktion kann gesteigert werden. Durch die Steigerung der Reisproduktion haben die Bauern mehr Einkommen, sie müssen nicht mehr 3 bis 4 Monate im Jahr hungern und die Unterernährung der Kinder (20%) geht zurück.

Es können aufgrund der großen Armut in diesem Distrikt, keine finanziellen Mittel für den Bau zu Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Eigenleistung besteht aus Arbeitskraft der Familien bei dem Bau des Systems
Folgekosten-Finanzierung
Folgekosten für dieses Projekt sind nicht zu erwarten, da Wartungs- und Instandhaltungskosten für das Bewässerungssystem von den Bauern selbst getragen werden.
Projektstandort
Binh Loc ist eines der beiden Ärmsten Distrikte in Ha Tinh. Ha Tinh gehört zu den ärmsten Provinzen in Vietnam, 2008 mit einem GDP 420 USD / Person / Jahr. Landwirtschaft, Forstwirtschaft und Fischerei nehmen 35,5 Prozent des gesamten BIP der Provinz ein und das BIP von Ha Tinh entfallen auf 0,7 Prozent des BIP von Vietnam.
In Binh Loc, einem Kreis von Ha Tinh leben 5186 Menschen in 9 Dörfern. Die meisten dieser Bewohner sind Bauern, wobei 18,3% der Menschen dort mit einem Monatseinkommen von 100.000 bis 150.000 VND etwa ( 4 bis 6) auskommen müssen. Dies ist der Grund warum 20% der Kinder in Binh Loc an Unterernährung leiden.
Zurückzuführen sind diese Bedingungen auf den heißen Wind aus Laos, von April bis Ende August. Die Temperaturen steigen dann auf über 40 wobei dann kaum Regen fällt. Die Pflanzen auf den Feldern verbrennen buchstäblich. Schwere Stürme von September bis November sind durch ihren regen verantwortlich für die Vernichtung der Pflanzen, weil sie ertrinken. Außerdem richten sie schwere Schäden in dem ganzen Gebiet an und fordern jedes Jahr viele Opfer. Das alles führt dazu, dass nur 1-mal, mit viel Glück 2-mal im Jahr, geerntet werden kann.

Der Lokale Träger hat bisher keine Unterstützung erhalten.
Bisherige Aktivitäten der Begünstigten
In diesem Distriktbereich soll mit Zusammenarbeit von Save the Children Souls, der Distriktregierung und der neu gegründeten Selbsthilfegruppe aus Binh Loc ( Vorsitzender Anh Duc ) die Renovierung eines Kindergartens durchführen.

Aufgrund der desolaten Zustände in der Feldbewässerung in Binh Loc, Ha Tinh, beantrage ich Christian Volker Ide, die durch Spenden zur Förderung dieses Kleinprojektes. Verantwortliche vor Ort sind, Christian Volker Ide, Save the Childrens Souls, das Volkskomitee Binh Loc und eine gegründete Selbsthilfegruppe aus Binh Loc.
Projekthintergrund
Die Bauern können nur 1-mal, mit viel Glück 2-mal im Jahr, eine Ernte einfahren. Im Sommer gibt es große Probleme mit dem heißen Wind aus Laos, der von April bis Ende August, die Temperaturen auf über 40 ansteigen lässt. In dieser Zeit fällt kaum Niederschlag, was die Pflanzen, aufgrund mangelnder Bewässerung und Kühlung, auf den Feldern verbrennen lässt. Schwere Stürme von September bis November sind, durch ihren regen, verantwortlich für die Vernichtung der Pflanzen, weil sie durch die große Niederschlagsmenge förmlich ertrinken. Der Boden für die Reisfelder ist uneben was außerdem dazu führt, dass in der Sturmzeit der gute Mutterboden durch die extremen Niederschläge abgetragen wird.
Vision des Projektes (langfristige, übergeordnete Zielsetzung)
Steigerung der Reisproduktion um 60% und daher eine 60% Einkommenssteigerung. Durch den Bau der Bewässerungsanlage, können ein Großteil der Bauern erreicht werden. Ein Bewässerungssystem wir eingerichtet und versorgt die Bauern im Sommer mit genügend Wasser. Dieses Wasser kann nicht nur zur Bewässerung der Felder genutzt werden, sondern dient auch dazu die entsprechende Kühlung in dem extremheißen Sommermonaten zu erreichen. Durch dieses Bewässerungssystem werden die Erträge gesteigert, da man auch im Sommer Reis anbauen kann. Dieses Bewässerungssystem gewährleistet ebenfalls, dass durch die Kühlung der Reis auf den Feldern nicht mehr verbrennt.
Die erhöhte Reisproduktion hat zur Folge, dass die Bauern öfter ernten können und sich somit der Ertrag gesteigert wird. Durch diesen gesteigerten Ertrag wiederum können die Bauern ein höheres einkommen erzielen. Das höhere Einkommen wirkt sich auf die 18,31% prozentige Armutsanzahl in Binh Loc aus und verringert diese erheblich. Weitere Folgen wären eine Verringerung der Unterernährung von den 20% der Kinder in Binh Loc, , mal abgesehen von der Verringerung an Krankheiten die durch diese Unterernährung auftreten.
Zielgruppe
Die Zielgruppe sind zunächst die Armen Bauer, die durch dieses Bewässerungssystem ihre Reisfelder im Sommer bewässern können und sie somit vor der Austrocknung schützen. Weiterhin ist die Zielgruppe ebenfalls die 20% der Kinder zu unterstützen die an Unterernährung leiden, denn durch den Bau des Kanals erreichen wir ein höheres Einkommen der Familien, was sich dann direkt auf die Kinder auswirkt. Uns ist es enorm wichtig die Kinder zu einem besseren Leben zu unterstützen.
Zielsetzung (langfristige und ideelle Ziele, Oberziele)
Die Verringerung der 18,31% Rate an Bauern die 100.000 bis 150.000 VND im Monat verdienen durch Steigerung Ihres Einkommens. Die Verringerung der 20% an Kindern in Binh Loc, die an Unterernährung leiden.
Zielsetzung (konkrete Einzelziele)
Bau und Reparatur eines Bewässerungssystems zur Wasserversorgung der Felder.
Maßnahmen und Aktivitäten
Der Bewässerungskanal soll von den betreffenden Personen renoviert werden, Distriktleitung, Bauern und dessen Familien, sowie Menschen aus der Gemeinde Binh Loc. Es sollen folgende Arbeiten ausgeführt werden, Entfernung des alten kaputten Systems, ausschachten und vorbereiten für das neue Beton Bewässerungssystems,
Hilfe beim Einbau des Bewässerungssystems und erlernen der Methoden von Instandhaltung und Wartung der Anlage durch den Baubetrieb.
Eingesetzte Mittel und Ressourcen
Die Bauern, deren Familien sowie Mitglieder der Gemeinde Binh Loc, stellen ihre Arbeitsleistung zu Verfügung. Weiterhin wird eine Baufirma zum Einsatz kommen, die die Betonwasserläufe für dieses System herstellt und zusammen mit den Bauern in die vorher ausgeschachteten Bereiche einsetzt.
Mitwirkendes und eingesetztes Personal
Distriktleitung von Binh Loc, die betreffenden Bauern und deren Familien, sonstige Helfer der Gemeinde Binh Loc, Baubetrieb Ha Tinh für den Bau der Beton Kanalelemente und die Technischen Integration in den Boden dieser Module, sowie Save the Childrens Souls Christian Volker Ide.
Erwartete Ergebnisse
Durch den Bau und die Reparatur des Bewässerungssystems wird erreicht, dass viele Bauern bzw. Felder der Bauern erreicht werden können und somit deren Felder bewässert werden. Dies hat den Nutzen, dass die Felder im Sommer nicht mehr austrocknen und die Ernte vor dem verbrennen geschützt wird. Die Einleitung des Wassere auf die Felder, hat nicht nur den Nutzen der Bewässerung, sondern auch der Kühlung der Felder. Dies wiederum hat zur Folge, dass die Bauern auch im Sommer eine Ernte einfahren können, die sonst auf Grund der Wetterverhältnisse nicht möglich wären. Die gesteigerte Produktion an Ernteertrag hat eine direkte Auswirkung auf das Einkommen der Bauern, was durch die Ernteerhöhung im selben Maße steigt. Wir verringern dadurch die hohe Armutsrate von 18,31% der Bauern die im Monat umgerechnet 4 bis 7 Einkommen haben. Durch dieses Einkommen kann ebenfalls die Unterernährungsrate der Kinder, die bei enormen 20% liegt, gesenkt werden. Dies hat zur Folge das die Region Binh Loc mit ihren 9 Dörfern eine bessere Entwicklungsmöglichkeit hat.

Material Angebot, von dem in der Stadt Ha Tinh ansässigem Baubetrieb zur Herstellung und Einbau des Bewässerungssystems.
Zeitplan
Der Zeitplan der Umsetzung, wird direkt nach Erhalt des Geldes begonnen und wird etwa 2 Monat dauern.
Projektbewertung
Man kann mit verhältnismäßig wenig Mitteln einen sehr hohen Effelte erzielen die sich auf fast alle Bauern auswirken. Diese Maßnahme ist sehr effectiv und absolut zu empfehlen.
Einschätzung der durchführenden Organisation bzw. des lokalen Partners
Die Provinzregierung ist verlässlich, sowie die gegründete Selbsthilfegruppe aus Binh Loc mit dem Vorsitzenden Anh Duc, sind sehr engagiert bei der Sache und bestrebt ihre Situation zu verbessern, was sich bis jetzt schon bei der Unterstützung des Kindergartens gezeigt hat.
Besonderheiten des Projektes, Einschätzung evtl. Risiken
Ein Risiko für unerwartete Ereignisse ist nicht zu erwarten, die Nachhaltigkeit des Bewässerungssystems ist gewährleistet, da die Bauern eine Einführung in Wartung und Instandhaltung für dieses System, von dem Baubetrieb, bekommen.
